Regional Civil Forum of Shymkent City
A Regional Civil Forum was held in Shymkent under the theme “Sustainable Development of Shymkent City: The Role of Civil Society Institutions.” The event served as an important platform for open dialogue and strengthening partnerships between the state and the civil sector.
During the forum, particular attention was given to the participation of non-governmental organizations in the implementation of state policy, the improvement of the regulatory framework, the development of urban communities, and enhancing the effectiveness of state–society cooperation.
The program featured panel sessions, thematic laboratories, solution presentations, and informal discussions. A special focus was placed on the discussion of the Concept for the Development of Civil Society, new approaches to public social contracting, and the role of citizens in exercising public oversight.
The forum was not just a venue for exchanging views but a space where new ideas emerged, partnerships were strengthened, and a shared vision for a sustainable and inclusive Shymkent was formed.
