Civil Forum of Zhetysu Region

The Civil Forum of Zhetysu Region, held on May 23 in Taldykorgan, became a platform for meaningful and open dialogue between representatives of government bodies, business, and civil society. The discussions focused on digitalization of the third sector, sustainable partnership models, and youth engagement in social processes.

The proposals put forward by participants reflected the pressing needs of society: the importance of institutional support for social initiatives, the development of a regulatory framework for cooperation with business, systematic development of volunteering, and strengthening the digital literacy and media presence of NGOs.

The forum demonstrated that the development of civil society is impossible without a strategic approach, readiness for cooperation, and the introduction of innovative solutions. The outcomes of the event will be submitted to relevant authorities for further integration into regional programs and practices.

This forum marked the start of a series of regional civil forums, which will soon be held in other regions of the country.
