Regional Civil Forum of West Kazakhstan Region

On July 25, 2025, the XII Civil Forum of West Kazakhstan Region was held, serving as an important platform to discuss the role of civil society in regional development and to strengthen partnerships between non-governmental organizations, state institutions, and the wider community. The theme of the forum, “The Voice of Society: The Working Person and Regional Development,” generated significant interest and active participation from NGOs, government representatives, veterans, and public figures.

The program included panel sessions dedicated to improving legislation on non-governmental organizations and mechanisms of state social contracting, as well as discussions on the role of working professions as the foundation of the country’s future. Participants also paid special attention to the importance of the Constitution as a firm pillar of Independence.

During thematic open discussions, issues of civil society’s participation in regional development were explored, experiences were shared, and successful NGO projects were presented. The forum reaffirmed its role as an effective dialogue platform where ideas are generated to promote the sustainable development of both the region and the country as a whole.
