Regional Civil Forum of Turkistan Region
Today, the first day of the XII Civil Forum was held in Turkistan under the theme “Social Responsibility and Civic Engagement: The Driving Force of Civil Society.” The forum brought together representatives of civil society from Turkistan Region with the aim of strengthening social responsibility and civic engagement, as well as promoting the region’s sustainable development.
In the afternoon, panel sessions were held where participants discussed the outcomes of the first stage of the Concept for the Development of Civil Society and prepared recommendations for its further implementation. Special attention was given to the draft laws “On Non-Governmental Organizations” and “On State Social Contracting.”
The forum also addressed issues of enhancing civic responsibility and legal awareness. Participants exchanged views on the role of NGOs in advancing legal culture and highlighted the impact of civic responsibility on economic growth within the framework of the “Adal Azamat” (“Honest Citizen”) concept.
