Karaganda Region
As part of the project “Organization of the Information and Awareness Group to Improve Religious Literacy among the Population of Karaganda City,” a preventive meeting was held with trainees of the Municipal State Enterprise “Regional Specialized Children and Youth Sports School” of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Karaganda region.
Topic of the meeting: “Countering Religious Extremism and Terrorism. Methods of Protection from Recruiters and Destructive Religious Movements.”
The speaker was Serik Tlekbayev, Executive Director of the Center for the Study and Analysis of Social Processes, legal expert in religious studies.
During the meeting, participants were explained the main threats associated with the spread of destructive ideologies, and practical recommendations were provided on building resilience against external negative influence.
