Today, the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting on “Infrastructure Support for NGOs: Effective Mechanisms of Interaction Between the State and Civil Society.”

The event was moderated by Zhanna Beisentayevna Assanova, Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and Vice President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan. The meeting brought together Members of Parliament, the President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, representatives of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and regional civil alliances.

The discussion focused on providing NGOs with the necessary infrastructure, including access to land plots, as well as improving support mechanisms for the civil society sector.

Participants discussed current challenges and opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the state and NGOs to implement socially significant projects, enhance the sustainability of the non-governmental sector, and increase the effectiveness of its activities.
