As part of the project “Organization of the Information and Awareness Group for Enhancing Religious Literacy among the Population of Karaganda City,” a meeting was held with the staff of JSC “Intergas Central Asia.”

The speaker was Dmitry Sergeyevich Poltarenko, a member of the National Information and Awareness Group under the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Head of the Karaganda Regional Branch of the Public Association “Counter-Terrorism Committee.”

During the meeting, participants discussed issues of public safety, strengthening mutual respect in a multi-confessional society, adherence to the principles of secularism, and the prevention of radicalism. The discussion focused on the threats posed by radical ideologies and the role of every citizen in preserving peace, harmony, and social stability.

In an open dialogue format, participants also addressed the prevention of radicalization, the development of critical thinking, and the strengthening of spiritual and moral values as key foundations for a safe and harmonious society.
