A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Pavlodar between the regional branch of the Nationwide Social Democratic Party (NSDP) and the Association “Civil Alliance of Pavlodar Region.”

The document was signed by Roza Dzhusupova, Chairperson of the regional branch of the party, and Svetlana Mogilyuk, Head of the Civil Alliance.

The primary objective of the memorandum is to combine efforts to strengthen civil society, improve the legal and social awareness of citizens, and support initiatives of the non-governmental sector.

The parties intend to jointly promote a culture of active civic participation and implement socially significant initiatives. Priority areas of cooperation include organizing training seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions, implementing social and environmental projects, conducting public awareness campaigns, and developing proposals to improve the activities of NGOs in the region.

Under the agreement, the regional branch of the NSDP will contribute to informing the public about legal and social initiatives, engaging citizens in discussions on important issues, and forwarding citizens’ appeals to the relevant authorities.

In turn, the Civil Alliance of Pavlodar Region will provide advisory and methodological support and actively participate in the implementation of social and environmental projects.

The memorandum entered into force upon signing.

Commenting on the signing of the document, Roza Dzhusupova, Chairperson of the Pavlodar Regional Branch of the NSDP, expressed confidence that the partnership would become an important step toward strengthening civil society in the region.

“We believe that this memorandum will help enhance the capacity of non-governmental organizations, unite resources to address pressing social issues, and create a solid foundation for the further growth of civic engagement among the residents of Pavlodar Region,” Roza Dzhusupova emphasized.
