Commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives, the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan announces the opening of applications for a Small Grants Competition aimed at developing public oversight practices and strengthening the capacity of Public Councils.

The amount of each small grant is KZT 500,000.

Projects must correspond to one of the following priority areas:

• public oversight of the quality and accessibility of public services in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, sports, and social protection;
• development of housing and communal services and public infrastructure;
• environmental issues and the sanitary condition of territories;
• ensuring an accessible environment for people with disabilities and other persons with limited mobility.

Applications will be accepted from August 4 through August 20, 2026 (inclusive), until 6:30 p.m.
