Previously, the National Coalition “For the People’s Constitution of a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan!” was established in the country, bringing together five leading political parties and more than 300 civil society organizations
As a continuation of this initiative, a city-level National Coalition was established in Almaty, bringing together representatives of a broad range of socio-political forces.
The Public Council of Almaty took part in the first meeting of the city’s National Coalition in support of the draft new Constitution in Almaty.
This is an important step toward strengthening the rule of law, protecting human rights, and expanding citizens’ participation in the governance of the country.
We are launching systematic awareness-raising work across all districts of the city so that every resident can be heard.
