Today, we heard the 2025 report of the Department of Education of Almaty.

Saken Zhabbarovich Aralbayev is currently serving as Acting Head of the Department.

A number of important issues were raised during the discussion:

• The need for student places in the city’s schools is approximately 30,000 places.
• 153,000 students are engaged in mass sports through the education system.
• Inclusive education has been introduced in 223 schools, with a coverage rate of 98%.

At the same time, many issues require further consideration. The Department of Education will prepare detailed information on the issues raised, while we will submit relevant recommendations.

It was also decided to conduct monitoring of all schools where inclusive education has been introduced, as well as all students receiving home-based education.

Work in these areas will continue.
