On April 8, the 3rd Commission of the Public Council of Almaty held a reporting meeting with the State Municipal Institution “Department of Municipal Infrastructure and Housing Inspection of Almaty”.
The Head of the Department provided a detailed report on the work carried out in 2025.
He also spoke about a new model under which a single contractor will perform several types of work within a specific area. This will increase the contractor’s responsibility for the scope and quality of the work performed.
Since April, Almaty’s municipal services have switched to a three-shift work schedule, which will make street cleaning more continuous and reduce disruptions in the operation of municipal services.
Members and experts of the Commission put forward a number of constructive proposals, which the Department has taken under its supervision for further discussion with the Public Council.
