A joint meeting with maslikhat deputies was held.

The meeting addressed a number of pressing issues in the field of sports.

The first item on the agenda was the city hippodrome. Various options for further action were discussed. Given that no meeting has yet been held with the owner holding the majority stake, it was decided that the Department of Sports would organize such a meeting. Further steps will be determined based on its outcomes.

The meeting also addressed the issue of state sports schools and identified discrepancies between the reported and actual number of athletes involved. It was decided to continue monitoring in this area, consolidate the findings, and bring them forward for further discussion in order to develop systemic measures. The initiative to establish a working group involving members of the Public Council on digitalization issues was also supported.

Issues addressed to the Directorate of Sports Facilities were considered separately. Unfortunately, the head of the Directorate did not provide answers to a significant number of the questions raised. Therefore, it was decided to conduct on-site inspections of a number of facilities.
