Patients are unable to receive medical services in comfortable conditions, while doctors cannot work with the new equipment.
Commission No. 2 of the Public Council of Almaty organized a monitoring visit to City Clinical Hospital No. 4. During the monitoring of construction and reconstruction projects, particular attention is usually paid to the completion of construction and installation works within the established deadlines and to the quality of the work performed.
At this facility, the contractor completed the work ahead of schedule and handed over the facility before the New Year. However, to date, the reconstructed part of the hospital and the new equipment remain unused due to prolonged bureaucratic procedures.
Following the monitoring, the Public Council prepared recommendations to be submitted to the relevant government bodies.
