The monitoring was organized by Commission No. 5 of the Public Council of Almaty jointly with the Department of Youth Policy of Almaty and was conducted with the participation of deputies of the Almaty Maslikhat.

As part of the monitoring, an investment project was presented, providing for the construction of a modern student accommodation complex with 5,000 beds and commercial premises. The first two blocks, with a total capacity of 2,000 beds, are scheduled to be commissioned in December of this year.

The complex will function as a mini-town with its own commercial infrastructure, providing students with convenient access to essential everyday services.

The complex is being constructed by a Chinese company using new technology, which makes it possible to complete the construction within a record-short timeframe. Following the commissioning of the facility in December, members of the Public Council plan to conduct a follow-up monitoring visit to the new complex.
