Unfortunately, the results of the inspection are not encouraging.

A significant amount of construction and finishing work remains incomplete at the site. The information board (project passport) indicates July 30, 2026 as the completion date. It is already clear that the school will not be commissioned by this date.

Given the current pace of work and the actual condition of the site, there are serious doubts as to whether the school will be ready even by the beginning of the academic year. The quality of the work being carried out is also a concern.

I hope that attempts to catch up with the schedule will in no way compromise quality or safety. However, at this stage, the Commission already has serious concerns regarding certain elements and the quality of the finishing work.

The safety and comfort of children must remain the top priority. The Public Council is firmly opposed to rushing the commissioning of the facility with unfinished work and defects simply to meet a convenient date for reporting purposes.

We will continue to monitor the reconstruction of School No. 56.
