A regular meeting of the Public Council of Shymkent was held. The meeting was opened and chaired by Bukhарbai Parmanov, Chair of the Public Council.

During the meeting, reports were heard from the Akim of the Al-Farabi District, the Head of the Department for Mobilization Preparedness, Territorial and Civil Defense, and the Housing Department on the work carried out.

The meeting presented landscaping works being implemented in the Al-Farabi District under the “Participatory Budget” project, as well as social and infrastructure projects for residents. Council members raised issues related to the organization and regulation of road traffic and the regulation of unauthorized street trading locations.

The meeting also addressed civil defense measures, the organization of seismic drills, and the readiness of shelters for emergencies.

In the housing sector, the participants discussed the activities of associations of property owners, awareness-raising work with residents, and current issues related to social housing.

During the meeting, members of the Public Council asked questions on the issues raised and submitted relevant recommendations to the responsible departments.
