IMPORTANT ISSUES WERE CONSIDERED AT THE MEETING OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL

A meeting of the Public Council of Shymkent was held in the meeting hall of the Shymkent City Akimat. The meeting was opened and chaired by Бұхарбай Парманов, Chairman of the Public Council.

A number of important issues were considered during the meeting:

• Report of the Akim of Turan District — on the socio-economic development of the district, work carried out, and future plans;
• Information on religious issues in Shymkent — on the religious situation and ongoing work in this area;
• Results of the work of the Department of Energy and Infrastructure Development and preparations for the heating season.

The heads of the relevant institutions delivered reports on the agenda items, followed by questions and recommendations from members of the Public Council.

The main goal of the Public Council is to raise pressing issues affecting city residents and ensure public oversight of the transparency and effectiveness of government authorities.
