Project: “Development of Volunteering in the Field of History and Culture”

The Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, by order of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of the Unified Grant Operator, is launching the project “Development of Volunteering in the Field of History and Culture.”

The project aims to promote volunteer initiatives focused on the preservation of historical and cultural heritage. Key components of the project include:

• annual volunteer training programs,

• a competitive selection of 10 small grants of 1,000,000 tenge each,

• awareness campaigns, and

• the publication of collections highlighting successful volunteer practices.

The project also includes participation in the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development in 2026.
