In Astana, on the premises of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, the international forum “Time for Good Deeds” was launched, organized jointly with the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Forum participants — representatives of the third sector and government authorities from Kazakhstan and Russia — discussed an important social issue: alternative job quotas for people with disabilities.
Representatives of executive authorities shared updates in legislation, while NGO representatives presented best practices aimed at creating an inclusive environment.
During the discussions, stories of change were highlighted — the opening of inclusive support centers for children and parents, the launch of creative spaces, and initiatives that have already transformed people’s lives.
One notable example was the project by the Kazakh NGO “ORDA Autism,” presented by Saltanat Esmaganbetova. In Astana, the social family café project “Bravo, Pizza” was launched, where teenagers undergo pre-professional training and socialize in a friendly and supportive environment.
The forum served not only as a platform for discussion but also as a space for real dialogue, experience exchange, and the emergence of new partnerships.
