The President emphasized the importance of the civil sector in societal development and the implementation of reforms

Today in Borovoe, the IV session of the National Kurultai was held, where the President emphasized the key role of the civil sector in societal development and the implementation of reforms. The Head of State supported the initiative to revise the criteria for the state social order and to adopt separate legislation on NGOs.
“Kurultai members Zulfia Baysakova and Banu Nurgazieva highlighted the need to review the criteria for the state social order and improve the legislation on non-governmental organizations. The civil sector plays a significant role in implementing reforms and developing society. Partnership between the state and NGOs contributes to addressing pressing issues, promoting constructive values, and shaping a new quality of the nation. Therefore, to enhance the effectiveness of the state social order, a separate law corresponding to modern realities is necessary. Naturally, during the drafting process, the bill must undergo thorough and comprehensive expertise, and the authorized bodies, with the participation of experts and civil society organizations, should address this matter,” noted the President.
State support for the civil sector is an important step toward strengthening the dialogue between society and government. It is expected that new mechanisms for financing social initiatives will enable NGOs to more effectively address pressing issues and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
