The President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia and Africa

The President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, Banu Nurgaziyeva, met with Valery Ruzin (Russia), Deputy Secretary General of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia and Africa and Head of the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio.

During the discussion, the plans for cooperation between the two organizations in organizing commemorative events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory were reviewed. V. Ruzin emphasized Kazakhstan’s immense—and “not yet fully realized or studied”—contribution to the triumph over fascism, ensured both by the heroism of 1.5 million Kazakhs called to the front and by the selfless labor on the home front.

The participants stressed that the Victory Anniversary events should reflect the greatness of all peoples’ heroism in the fight against Nazism and, as B. Nurgaziyeva noted, “serve as a moral stimulus for further partnership among civil society institutions of different countries.”
